Structural Drying
Sentry Construction Company specializes in drying homes and businesses. Proper drying can save home owners and businesses money in restoration and replacement costs, as well as preventing indoor air quality problems associated with mold and water damage.
The professional, commercial quality drying equipment we use will remove water and moisture from drywall, plaster, interior paint, cement floors, carpets, insulation, belongings, and basements. The results are exceptional! The dehumidifiers we use are capable of reducing high humidity and moisture levels to normal levels quickly. Moisture that is not removed through extraction must be removed by dehumidification to prevent further permanent damage, called secondary damage. Warm, dry air is circulated over, under, and around surfaces, causing the moisture to evaporate into the air.
Warmer air is capable of holding more moisture, so the warm, dry air from the dehumidifier collects the moisture from the air. The dehumidifier condenses the collected water vapor back into water, pumps it out, and continues to circulate dry air within the building.
It is very important that you receive thorough and accurate documentation when it comes to water damage. Insurance companies use a database called C.L.U.E. to find out about the claims history for a person or an address. This information is used to determine whether or not an insurance company wants to insure a property for someone. It is critical that you be able to show a prospective buyer or an insurance company that your property was properly and professionally restored.
Once the drying process is complete we can then assist you with expert estimating of the work needed to restore your home or business to its undamaged condition.
At Sentry Construction Company we have an expert understanding of how humidity, temperature, vapor pressure, and air movement influence drying conditions. This knowledge is critical for handling water damage effectively. The unsurpassed quality of our equipment and the capable experience of our technicians combine to handle any water damage situation. We will also provide you with the documentation that you need to show that your water damage was properly restored. Give us a call. You'll be glad you did!
